Welcome to the Ohio Concealed Carry Training Center. OCCTC is a training facility designed to enable Ohio residents to comply with the Ohio State Concealed Carry Law. Since Governor Taft signed House Bill HB-12, Ohio has joined 45 other states to approve a concealed firearms carry law.
Many citizens would like to be better prepared to handle the many violent encounters that are present in today’s society. This new law enables ordinary citizens to be trained to safely handle, carry, and if necessary, use a handgun as defense against criminal acts.
Providing the required training is the job of OCCTC. Our instructors are law enforcement and NRA certified plus they are former instructors from the Sig Souer Academy. Our training consists of ten hours in the classroom, followed by two hours of legal and live-firing instruction. Classes are held conveniently at the Powder Room at 33 Beach Ridge Drive in Powell, Ohio 43065.
